Every restriction triggers a reformulation cycle: requalifying formulas, rerunning stability tests, and explaining to your customers why the product changed.

🧪🪵 Meanwhile, an input that was never in scope doesn’t need reformulating when the scope changes.

The pathway to scaling dope dyed BioBlack man-made cellulosic fibers (MMFC) is now validated! Since 2022, we’ve been rigorously working with Fashion for Good to replace synthetic black pigments in dope dyeing applications with Birla Cellulose.

Dope dyeing adds pigment directly into the polymer melt before fiber extrusion, saving water and avoiding much of the chemical use tied to conventional dyeing.

The results confirmed BioBlack meets industry standards while ensuring compatibility across the value chain, and now we’re scaling even faster toward seamless commercial runs. Get in touch with us for more information!
