While everyone’s screaming 2016, we’re pulling you back to the energy of 04–06.
Basketball has always been woven into who we are. From our first collaboration with The Hundreds, to Poetry In Motion (Pre-Fall ’23), to our New Balance All-Star Weekend collab in The Bay where was born, the game has remained a constant thread. It’s embedded in the DNA of Bricks & Wood, to the point where we’re no longer shy about our perspective or how we represent what’s given us so much identity.
With All-Star Weekend returning to Los Angeles, and more specifically Inglewood for the first time since the Great Western Forum, it only felt right to fully step into the moment.
No brand activations.
No collaborations.
Just pure Bricks & Wood energy.
Inspired by the 2004 All-Star Weekend that took place at the formerly known Staples Center, a time when culture collided over three days and the Jam Session felt just as important as the game itself. Tickets were impossible, moments were legendary, and Jason Richardson gave us one of the greatest dunk contest performances ever.
2004 just hits different.
To restore even just a piece of that feeling, we’ve curated a very limited capsule and aligned ourselves with a series of moments we want you all to be part of. We call this Home Court Advantage.
From Friday night tip-off through the entire weekend, we’ve got something with our name on it every single day & you’re all invited.
More details soon of each individual event coming soon. Consider this your check-in.
Act accordingly & remember…stay dangerous.
