Our evening chocolate fix 😋

Same color, different fabrics = various looks due to composition, texture, and the original base color of PFD (aka non-dyed) fabric:
‣ If a 100% natural fiber garment and a cotton blend garment are dyed together, often times the cotton blend is darker because synthetics absorb certain colors quicker.
‣ Textures change the shade of the garment.
‣ If the PFD garment has a yellow undertone, the final product will have a warmer undertone as a result.

Color can vary between the same textile depending on who makes the formula, batch temperature, etc. No two batches are ever the same shade, leaving room for the beauty of human error.

Absolute punch in the gut for millennials this weekend, as SHEIN PURCHASES EVERLANE??? Apparently, Everlane accumulated approximately $90 million in debt, so their board has been looking to either sell off the company or find new investors, but SHEIN of ALL COMPANIES!!

There’s been comments floating around saying that this is the death of the millennial optimism (lol, rip to us), while others have stated this might be SHEIN’s shift towards sustainability. Considering their track record, in my opinion, it would be hard to envision a pivot + rebrand that would make sense for their current clientele.

There’s a lot of work that goes into one piece. From design to sourcing fabric to hunting for trims and everything in between—we’re dedicated to creating the best of the best for your closet.

Our linen pieces are made from 100% linen. None of that linen blend stuff. Coconut buttons to keep the casual, natural look. And colors specially picked that we think are best suited for our linen collection.
