How sweet is Madysen enjoying her All The Feels Sensory Activity Box?! We may have closed orders for Christmas but we at Alisette certainly don’t want to leave you and your little one without a few ideas to make winter break fun! We bet you can find most of these ingredients in your own home 🤗

• Rainbow rice (food coloring, rice)
• Homemade play dough (check out our video for the recipe!)
• Sensory bottles (old water bottles, food coloring, baby oil, water, and glitter!)
• Slime (baking soda, white glue, contact solution)
• Oobleck (corn starch, water, food coloring)

It gives me such joy to hear from parents about the *results* of sensory play at work, like this cutie becoming comfortable with an unfamiliar texture: a squishy, bumpy sensory ball from his “All The Feels: Intro to Sensory” activity box.

I get asked a lot about the benefits of sensory play on cognitive growth so here’s a little breakdown 🤗

First off, sensory play refers to any activity that stimulates a child’s senses through play. It’s amazing that such a simple concept could:

• develop fine and gross motor skills
• encourage independent thinking
• ease your child into a world overwhelmed with sensory stimuli
• fuel socialization
• promote task-focus and spatial awareness
• nurture their imaginations! (my personal favorite 😊)
