In 2015, a series of major vertigo attacks took being The Balloon Lady away from me all at once. Stuck on my couch, jewelry and upcycled art became how I kept creating, and eventually I sold it out of a little kiosk in Alaska.

We left Alaska in 2018 to care for our mothers in Tennessee, and eventually restarted Personal Space Creations here. Our storefront opened in 2019 and carried us through more than I expected, including COVID. But it isn't sustainable anymore, physically or financially. Life is hard right now for all of us.
