Before I sold clothes, I sold flowers. And before that I worked for my parents doing the same thing. Dale Malone was a customer of both of ours. Yesterday, he passed away during a fire call due to a medical emergency. My heart broke for his family last night
This morning I saw someone posted this quote as being on his page in January. His final moments were doing just this. Can you imagine being welcomed into heaven and the last thing you were doing on earth was helping someone else? 🙌
The last conversation I had with Dale was a good while back. He came by to pay me and as he was leaving he thanked me, told me to stay out of trouble, and that it was a good day to do what we can and then stand out of the way and let the Lord do the rest.
Wise words from a kind soul who gave what he could when he could. White Level Fire Department, our prayers are with you and his sweet family. May we all remember today and everyday if we're in a position to help someone, help them. God does work in mysterious ways and more times than not, He uses willing hearts to do so.
