PDS Optical loves supporting other Veteran Service Organizations. This weekend, we were proud to support the 5th Annual Louisville Hero Run /Walk/Ruck.

This great organization honors those who died in battle and those we lost at home to the psychological wounds of war. Proceeds benefit Hero's new charity partner, Volunteers of America Mid-States, as well as the University of Louisville's Salute to Service Scholarship Fund.

Our team made it a family affair and had a great time with other participants!

When you have soooo many family members who served in the military, you gain a profound appreciation for giving back to Veterans.
We're happy to shine a light on Zina Thomas, our PDS Optical Optician of the Week.
Zina said, "I value the prescription eyewear services PDS Optical provides our Veterans, including so many of my family members. I have worked as an optician for the Dorn VA (Columbia SC) for 10 years and it's been an incredibly rewarding and humbling journey."
