We are looking for a skilled seamstress to help sew emblems, hem pants, and repair uniforms to meet the standards of our clients. The ideal candidate has experience working with durable fabrics and understands the functional and aesthetic requirements of uniform apparel.

Responsibilities:

Sew, alter, and finish uniforms based on production needs

Operate industrial sewing machines and tools efficiently

Maintain an organized and clean work area

Qualifications:

Prior experience sewing uniforms or workwear is highly preferred

Skilled in using industrial sewing machines

Strong attention to detail and precision

Ability to follow instructions and work independently

Well it’s official The city of Rockford has chosen not to support a local business. They awarded the Fire Department uniform contract to a non state line business. We have held that contract since we opened. We wish the fire department well on there new endeavors with a product that is inferior to what they were using. This is what happens when you let people make decisions that have no clue about uniforms. We Thank everyone who continues to support local businesses and Uniform Den East.
