I’ve not had the time to process and post all the photos I took of this bag (which wasn’t much as I was rushing to finish and deliver it.) But here are a few.

Thanks for trusting me to design and create a bag for you. I greatly appreciate the understanding and patience and hope the finished product makes up for the time.

It was a great challenge to take this on. I had not made a proper purse before and decided to throw myself in the deep end. As it always goes I made some design decisions that made the process extremely challenging for someone who has never designed or built a purse.

Some details.

👜Strap:

fully adjustable height. Hand carry, under arm, shoulder, and cross-body via a three part strap system.

🐐🇫🇷Leather: Alran Sully

🪡Stitching: French Style Slanted Irons at 3.38mm (all stitches are double punched to allow for a perfect lay of the thread slant.) *This was a huge logistical nightmare with my curved radius shape - as only other crafters will understand.

I’m preparing a fresh batch of wallets, keychains, and other leather goods for Jackalope Creative’s ( )new storefront opening on October 10th.

Every piece is handcrafted with full-grain leather and saddle stitched for a quality that lasts. If you’re in Lubbock, come by their grand opening and check out Lunar Leather in person—you’ll be able to see (and feel) the craftsmanship up close.

I am back from my leather crafting hiatus. Life got a bit hectic there for a while - but normalcy is returning.

I’m only focused on finishing up a larger purse project and organizing my shop and tools, for now.

I hope to be back to producing stuff to sell here or at local markets soon.

Lunar is on pause for now.

Between building a new workshop, prepping for a new baby, working a full-time job, and still making progress on a leather bag project — life’s a bit packed at the moment.

Because of that, the website will be in maintenance mode for a while. I’m still around, still creating when I can, but Lunar is taking a short break.

Thanks for all the support — can’t wait to come back with fresh work and new energy when the time’s right.

This custom Gemini Wallet is almost ready to go! ✨ The pockets are fully lined with the same leather as the exterior, plus RFID protection for added security. Now it’s time for stitching, edge painting, and shipping it out. Thanks for your patience on this one, J!

I also tweaked the floater pocket design slightly to see how it affects card fit. I’m always looking for ways to improve my work or introduce new variations to existing designs.

Making something for another crafter always comes with a bit of pressure. Unlike the average person who might overlook minor imperfections, a fellow maker will notice them instantly. But the best way to look at it? They also understand the craft better than most—and with that comes an appreciation for the beauty in the process, imperfections and all.

This is a luxury watch strap I crafted from Horween Shell Cordovan in Black, lined with Zermatt leather from Tannery Haas. I’ve worn a Shell strap myself for a while now, and I don’t baby it. The more I use it, the better it gets. Hope you enjoy it, !

This has been my everyday carry for a while now—crafted from an incredible Shell Cordovan from . This leather is dense, rich, and absolutely stunning. What you’re seeing here is actually the reverse side of the hide, which I’m often drawn to for its unique character.

The floater pocket reveals a glimpse of the exterior’s texture, adding depth and contrast to the design. Timeless, durable, and aging beautifully—just how I like it. ✨
