I wanted to share with y’all my own car seat insert and cover that I created for baby DJ 🤍. With that being said, this will be the last car seat insert I ever create.

🚨 ANNOUNCEMENT 🤍 Dreamy Threads

I wanted to come on here and share something important regarding the car seat inserts I’ve previously made and posted.

After sharing one recently, I received a lot of feedback and information from a fabric group I’m a part of that brought some safety concerns to my attention… specifically regarding the use of inserts in car seats. This is something I genuinely was not aware of, especially as a mom who has used them in the past with my own children.

I’ve taken the time to read through the information, do a little research, and really sit with it… and while I may not have known before, I do now.

Because of that, I’ve made the decision to no longer offer or create car seat inserts moving forward.

However, I will still be offering car seat covers like the one pictured, which also double as breastfeeding covers… so you can still get a stylish and functional cover for your little one safely!

As beautiful and popular as the inserts may be, my priority will always be safety. I would never want to risk being part of a “what if” situation when it comes to a child’s well-being.

I will be sharing the screenshots of the information I received so you all can also read and make informed decisions for yourselves 🤍

Another custom newborn car seat insert in the books!! I actually made THREE this past week… two for my amazing customers and one for baby DJ 🥹💙

I will no longer be taking any new Dreamy Threads orders at this time! If you already have an invoice, you’re good 🤞🏽

As I get closer to labor, I’ve got a LOT going on…. preparing for baby and we’re also in the middle of moving 🏡😮‍💨
Plus this big belly and Braxton Hicks is NOT letting me sit still at my sewing machine 😂 I’ve been having to take breaks and walk around a lot.

I don’t want to overwhelm myself or risk delaying current orders, so I’m pressing pause on new ones for now 💕
