Our Freshman team opened their season today with an impressive performance from both teams. It is amazing how far they have come from their first practice, less than one month ago. Not only do we want to congratulate the boys for the hard work that they put into this preseason but we would also like to say thank you to our freshman coaching staff for the time and patience that they have put into getting both teams prepared for today’s game. We look forward to an exciting season of growth and success. Go Cubs!

Come cheer on the Lucas Youth Football teams this Saturday 8/29 at home.

Our Freshman team plays their first game of the season at 11am. Following that, our JV and Varsity teams will scrimmage East Knox at 1pm.

JV will open their season with Mansfield at home on 9/10 and Varsity will travel to Cardington to play their first game on 9/12.

On Wednesday, we were back in Cub Country photographing the 2026 Lucas Youth Football & Lucas Youth Cheer teams. We are excited to share their team photos with you and can't wait to get the orders back into the parents' hands! Tomorrow, orders are sent to the lab for production and then shortly delivered back to the league.

It was a fun day at the Lucas Community Sand Volleyball Tournament. Thank you to everyone who came out to support the Lucas Youth Football fundraising event and our community! A special thanks goes out to our varsity volleyball team for their help with keeping score and line judging. Congratulations to team Foss for winning the 2026 tournament!

The Lucas Community Sand Volleyball Tournament is tomorrow (7/25) at the Lucas Community Center. A big thanks to all the teams that signed up in support of our Lucas Youth Football program. The tournament starts at 9:30am. We ask that teams please arrive early to check in. Even if you don’t have a team, bring the family and join us for a day of fun! We will have music and yard games for everyone to enjoy. If you are 21 and older, you may bring adult beverages and consume them responsibly (cans only). The Local Stitch will open their pop-up shop from 9:30am-2pm with new Lucas Football apparel for sale, Tropical Sno Sellers will be there all day serving Hawaiian Shaved Ice, Open Door Cafe will be open from 10am-5:30pm serving a variety of delicious food and Cub Country BBQ will be there from 11am-5pm serving the best BBQ around. Come grab some food, new gear and spend the day with us. Go Cubs!

We are excited to announce that Cub Country BBQ, Open Door Cafe and the Local Stitch will be back this year at the Lucas Community Sand Volleyball Tournament. In addition to them, we are excited to welcome Tropical Sno Sellers as well! Come out and support our local businesses along with our Youth Football Program at the Lucas Community Center on Saturday, July 25th.

Thank you to all that registered to play this year. The bracket will be posted soon. If you didn’t register to play, that is ok, you can still join us for a fun day for the whole family. We will have music, lawn games, delicous food, shaved ice, Lucas apparel and more! We hope to see you there!
