This dress originally had a zipper and was replaced with a corset back. This can be done as an alternative to enlarging a dress or just as decorative look. A privacy panel can also be added to cover up the back.

I do many small projects over here such as sewing on patches. Boy scout, girl scout, cub scout etc.. for reasonable prices. Square patches are $3, Round Patches are $5 and patches for pockets are $10. I always make sure to follow official guidelines for placement.

More robes! This client, who lives in and shipped the dress from Florida, wanted to get TWO robes out of her wedding dress for both of her daughters. It took some pre-planning in order to map out the pieces because there's no going back once you start cutting. I was able to do it with each having their own look since I used every inch of that beautiful, ivory silk shantung train.

Need a special gift for someone? The holidays are coming so make it special and take a t-shirt or something similar to turn into a pillow. This was once a t-shirt that was gifted from a mother to her son. I added a matching, contrasting binding to elevate the look. Pillows of many sizes and shapes can be made. Inquire for pricing.

Another wedding dress transformation! This particular robe was designed with the intent of being worn multiple ways on the wedding and after. I had to incorporate additional fabric in order to achieve the look. Another happy customer

What could be more meaningful than turning the dress you wore on your special day into a robe for your daughter to wear on hers. This was once a beautiful gown with a long train that has been repurposed into a chic robe to get ready in before the ceremony. Doing stuff like this makes me so happy!

A customer’s daughter’s communion dress got lost in the mail just a few days before communion day. She needed a specific size which she couldn’t get in such a short time. I told her to get a plain, inexpensive dress that was closest in size, that I could use as a base, and took it apart to transform it into something special. Lots of time spent on it but it was worth it!
