I'm a food allergy mom (and wife!) which in itself is a full time job. Part of that job is educating, advocating and spreading awareness of food allergies. By creating these items, it's my hope that people will stop and ask questions, and maybe better understand how serious food allergies are. . Beyond being a food allergy mom, I'm also a woman battling thyroid cancer. While highly treatable and survivable, I have unfortunately experienced a rare complication that has forever impacted my life. By spreading awareness of this cancer, it's my hope that people (especially young women like myself) will get themselves checked, because early detection is so very important. Dealing with my cancer has been made easier by leaning on my dear friend, who walked a very similar path in life, when she was dealt her own diagnosis of breast cancer, while being a single mom to an amazing little boy who just happens to have autism. So you'll find a few items designed specifically with them in mind. Inclusion matters. Awareness matters.
