WE’RE HIRING | FORMALWEAR SPECIALIST

As our business continues to grow in bridal, formalwear, menswear and weddings, we’re looking for a Formalwear Specialist who can grow right along with us.
You’ll work primarily at Betty Jeffries, helping our customers shop for some of the biggest moments in their lives, from prom and homecoming to mother of the bride, bridesmaids and special occasions. You’ll also have the opportunity to cross-train with James Dell in men’s formalwear and assist with weddings and special events at Poplar Place.
What we’re looking for:
• Someone warm, outgoing and genuinely comfortable talking with people
• A strong sense of style and an eye for putting a look together
• Confidence working independently and making decisions
• Someone organized, dependable and ready to jump in wherever needed
• A natural salesperson who loves helping people find exactly what they need
• Someone excited by weddings, fashion, events and creating memorable experiences
• Retail, bridal, formalwear or event experience is a plus, but personality and willingness to learn matter just as much
What you’ll do:
• Style and assist formalwear customers at Betty Jeffries
• Help manage a busy sales floor during bridal appointments
• Learn bridal, prom, mother of the bride, bridesmaids and special occasion
• Cross-train in men’s suits and tuxedos at James Dell
• Assist with inventory, merchandising and keeping our showrooms beautiful
• Help with wedding and event preparation at Poplar Place
• Eventually become someone we can confidently trust with appointments, customers and day-to-day responsibilities
The details:
Part-time to full-time, approximately 25–35 hours per week, with the opportunity for additional hours during our busiest seasons.
Saturday availability is required.
Starting pay based on experience, with an opportunity for growth as the position develops.
