With the heaviest of hearts, my siblings Vickie, Cathy, David, Judy and I want to share the news that our beloved mom passed away on September 25th, at the age of 91. ❤️
Mom was the heart of our family, and while we will miss her dearly, we find comfort in knowing that after 31 long years, she is finally reunited with our dad in Heaven.
Mom spent her life taking care of her family. She raised the five of us on a dairy farm, and anyone who knows farm life knows it wasn’t always easy. There were long days, hard work, LOTS of cooking, and plenty of challenges, but through it all, her children always came first. She gave us everything she had.
Mom came from a large Italian family. She was the youngest of 11 children and outlived all her siblings. She carried with her so much family history, so many memories, and the traditions and love that came from being part of such a big Italian family.
She was so proud of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Family was always at the center of who she was.
As difficult as this goodbye is, we are grateful for the 91 years we were blessed to have her, and for all the memories she gave the five of us. Most of all, we are comforted knowing she is no longer waiting for Dad. After 31 years apart, they are together again. ❤️
We love you, Mom. We will carry you with us for the rest of our lives and continue to tell the stories.
