Volunteer shifts at Half-Pint are designed to fit around real life. A couple of hours during the school day. An evening after work. A weekend slot while your partner has the kids. You pick what works — there's no minimum commitment marathon required.

And in exchange for those few hours? You shop the presale before the public, with first pick of the entire floor. 🛍️ We've had volunteers tell us their shift was the most fun they'd had all week — 300+ people working together, music going, racks filling up. It doesn't feel like work.

First time consigning with Half-Pint? Welcome! Here are our top tips to make it easy AND profitable: 💛

1. Start small — You don't have to consign everything your first time. Pick one category and build from there.

2. Focus on quality — Gently used, clean, in-season items sell best. If you wouldn't hand it to a friend or buy it yourself, don't consign it.

3. Use our pricing guide — We give detailed guidance. When in doubt: "What would I pay for this secondhand?"

4. Prep like a pro — Clean items, check for stains/damage, make sure everything's complete (all puzzle pieces, working zippers, no knee holes).

5. Let the app help — Our EasyTag app does the heavy lifting — just talk or snap a photo. First 10 items free!

6. Don't stress — Tutorials, helpers, and a whole community have your back. You've got this! 💪

Kids' winter gear is EXPENSIVE. 🥶

A new coat, snow pants, boots, hat, and mittens? You could easily drop $150+ per kid — and that's before they inevitably lose one mitten before we even hit December. My family has lost So. Many. Mittens.

And if your house is anything like ours, kids wear it hard for one season, then outgrow it completely. Buying brand new every single year just doesn't add up.
