Going back to my Tennessee roots with this one. A little love for Dolly Parton and the country music that’s filled Nashville restaurants and honky-tonks for decades.

While talking with my fiancé, I discovered he could only name ONE Dolly movie… and not a single song. Apparently, growing up in Tennessee and growing up in New Orleans came with very different soundtracks. We’ll be working on his. 😂

Louisiana is home now, but there will always be a lot of Tennessee in The Twisted Hippo. This bubblegum-pink Dolly-inspired tee is a little nod to both where I started and the music that still feels like home.

And yes, I start my day with a cup of ambition… but this small-business life rarely clocks out at 5.

Well, the little break I had between orders didn’t go quite as planned.

I decided it would be the perfect time to completely rearrange and declutter the office. You know how that goes—you have to pull absolutely everything out before you can put it back together and make it better.

Unfortunately, I got sick last night before I made it to the “put it all back together” part. So right now, my office looks like an actual tornado came through it, and I’m curled up with chicken noodle soup trying to convince my body that we do not have time for this.

I’ll be taking it easy today and giving myself a chance to rest. I tried to conquer through this morning but my body said, "sit your ass down"

If you’re waiting on a response from me, I promise I’m not ignoring you. I’ll get back to everyone as soon as I’m feeling human again.

The Madisonville Youth Boosters Gators Jamboree is tomorrow, and I completely forgot to take photos of the new designs—but trust me, they are ready to make an impact for the new season 💚

The boxy shirts and racerback tanks were definitely the hot-ticket items, along with our new A4 Dri-Fit shirts.

Shirt orders are closed for tomorrow’s Jamboree, but you can still order now to have yours for next weekend and all the future games!

Hair clips, barrettes and earrings can still be ordered for pickup this evening.

Our racerback tanks paired with a Gators claw clip are the perfect combo for keeping our gals a little cooler in this triple-digit heat. And for everyone spending long days at the field, the A4 Dri-Fit shirts are quickly becoming a favorite.
