Remembering Mystery Fun House!
For 25 years, Mystery Fun House was one of those wonderfully weird Orlando attractions you never forgot. From 1976 until its closing in 2001, generations of locals and visitors made their way through the mirror maze, Moonscape and other strange rooms before later additions like Starbase Omega laser tag and dinosaur mini golf added even more to the experience.
Located on Major Boulevard near International Drive, Mystery Fun House offered something completely different from Orlando’s growing mega theme parks. It was quirky, a little creepy, sometimes confusing and completely unforgettable. For a lot of Orlando kids growing up in the ’70s, ’80s and ’90s, a trip here became part of growing up in Central Florida.
