This dress hardly moved in the shop because I kept hearing, “That’s just too many ruffles for me.”

But ladies…you weren’t seeing the breakdown. 😎

Under all those ruffles is this darling floral slip dress, and TODAY she’s getting her moment. 🎉 I threw on my trusty denim jacket, tied a twilly on the pocket, added my yellow slides and grabbed my Antoinette’s coffee next door!

And just like that—a completely different outfit!!!

THIS is why I’m always telling you not to look at a piece for only what it is on the hanger. Look at what else it can do. Sometimes the best part of an outfit is hiding underneath. 😉

Tried a brand-new drink next door at Antoinette’s this morning — the Hazelnut Praline Latte — and y’all FANTASTIC! ☕️🤎 Definitely adding that one to the rotation!

Today’s agenda: comfy OOTD, good coffee, rain outside, and LOTS of new product waiting on me to get it entered into the system. 🙌🏻

Some days you just put your shoes on, grab your coffee, thank God for the good things right in front of you, and keep moving forward. 💗

I read this review Sunday after church, sitting at lunch, and I remember thinking how incredibly thankful I was for these words. 💗

Then life got heavy, and honestly, I forgot all about it.

This morning I found the screenshot in my camera roll and read it again. And this time it hit a little differently. 🥹

THIS. This is why I opened Opal & Viv’s.

Of course I love clothes. I love putting outfits together. I love finding beautiful things for the shop. But more than any of that, I want women to walk through my door and feel seen, comfortable, beautiful and confident. No judgment. No pressure. And absolutely no rule that says you have to love something just because I pulled it for you. 😎

You may never know how much these words meant to me when you wrote them—or how much I needed to read them again today. Thank you. Truly. 💗
