Now twenty years later she is still creating them in order to find her happy place during her cancer treatments. Twenty years ago, my mother in law wanted an apron, it took 6 tries until I liked it. Over time, I have made many improvements, including finding better and higher quality fabric. The aprons designs are mostly a very nice poly cotton, with a solid colored liner on the back. I do use som
e other fabrics, if a design or pattern is screaming for me to make it in an apron, although that would be noted. They wash very easily in the machine and are very durable for years to come. I made many of them while being treated for breast cancer and the creative outlet provided a sense of happiness as I struggled with my health.
