A little about bodswim...
bodswim is California home grown brand specializing in handmade suits that utilize high quality material.
I was inspired and taught how to make swimwear by my mom, who had a swimwear business of her own in the 80’s. I was raised in a family of waterskiers and ocean lovers, and I lived in my swimsuits from morning until night. As I got older I became picky with the suits I wore and spent hours in my mom’s sewing room until I came out with a design I loved. This lead to the creation of bodswim; a collection of suits with styles made for those who love those warm summer days of living in a swimsuit. Each style in our Hometown collection is named after my favorite local beaches.
My fiancé and I are passionate about animals and the environment so we will be designing a specific suit every few months where a certain amount of it's sales will go to the chosen foundation. Every few months we choose a foundation that we will be donating part of the income brought in through the purchase of the suit designed after the specific foundation. The print will reveal the organization that we will be donating part of the income brought in through those specific purchases towards that suit for the month.
