RETORRA | DOUBLE IKAT

Wow! What an incredible feast of color designed by featuring RETORRA’s Double Ikat rug.

Ikat weaving leaves a beautiful streaking effect that abstracts a pattern and gives it a sense of movement. We capture that same sensibility in our Double Ikat design through the attenuated lines that come off the motif, the result is a blurring of the pattern lines which add a wonderfully scraped effect to the carpet.

RETORRA | SWP ESSENTIAL COLLECTION

The moniker “SWP” stands for silk, wool, sunpat. We blend equal parts of these three fibers together to create the quality in, what has become, our most popular weave quality. SWP is perfectly imperfect. Although the design is technically solid, there is such variety of texture in these rugs that the materials become a pattern in-and-of themselves.
