I would just like to say that I am teaching beginning millinery skills here in my studio in Eastern, Ky. I have had several instructors that teach advanced skills express that there is a need for basic sewing and blocking skills before the student can be really sucessful in some of the more advanced classes. Anyone new at hat making and need basics please PM me. I have housing accomidations on site and keep my fees as low as possible.I teach the basics in blocking felt, buckram, straw, and sinamay . Also hat embellishments.
I have also taught two sucessful classes in Eco printing on paper and am developing a class for the spring Eco printing on fabric.

Hello friends, just an update for you all. The millinery class that was planned for July was canceled due to a lack of interest. There is one more scheduled class this year for the 1st weekend in October. This is a wet felting class. Dates are the 4th thru the 6th of october. If there are not at least 4 attendants who pay by the end of August this class will also cancel. I have decided that there will not be any classes scheduled here for millinery in 2020 due to Millinery Meetup unless I decide to teach a couple of basic ones myself. Last year was a bad year for classes since most saved to attend the meet up and I anticipate that also to be the case for 2020.
