I love collaborations! Like this Hawaiian Airlines amenity/toiletry bag by Sig Zane still in its original packaging 😍 Swipe ➡️ to see the matching blanket). Sig Zane also designed the Hawaiian Airlines uniforms showcasing native forests, including ʻōhiʻa trees with their lehua blossoms. The uniforms made their debut in 2017 and explains why the in-flight crew look so amazing 🤩 Hopefully, one day designer goodies will be given out to passengers again 🌺

Bete Inc. was founded in 1959 by designer, Elizabeth Manchester. In its early years, Rene Kubo (pictured here) was hired. Kubo eventually took over the business until it was sold in the 90s.

During the 80s, Bete Muu's could be found at Department Stores, Carol & Mary, McInerny and Liberty House. Bete, Inc. still exists today selling its classic designs. Which one is your favorite? Mine is the Kupuna and Pantaloon ❤️

I also love this quote by Maile Meyer, founder of Na Mea Hawaii/Native Books because it’s so true 🤣 -
