One of the stranger things about all the recent UFO talk is how familiar some of it sounds.

For years there have been rumors about different types of beings supposedly discussed in classified briefings. Two of the most famous are the Nordics and the Greys.

The Nordics are often described as tall, beautiful, blond, and almost superhuman. The Greys are smaller, pale, and associated with underground places and advanced craftsmanship.

Sound familiar?

In this video I go through what the actual Norse sources say about elves and dwarves, and why some people have noticed similarities between modern alien stories and ancient mythology.

Whether that's coincidence, folklore repeating itself, or something else entirely is up to you.

And if you're interested in what the original sources actually say about Norse and Germanic religion, check out my book on the website. That's where I spend most of my time these days.

Most people know berserkers for wearing wolfskins or bearskins.

What a lot of people don't realize is that there may actually be even stronger evidence that they wore masks.

We find masked warriors in Viking Age artwork, earlier Germanic archaeology, saga literature, and even firsthand accounts. One Byzantine source describes Scandinavian warriors performing a ritual dance while wearing animal skins and masks. Archaeologists have also uncovered masks and mask-like figures connected to warrior imagery.

The idea of the berserker may have been much more than just a fighter. It may have involved ritual disguise, initiation, seasonal ceremonies, and taking on the identity of an animal or spirit.

Could some of these traditions have survived into later European masking customs, including Halloween? It's impossible to prove directly, but it's an interesting possibility and one worth looking at.

What do you picture when you hear the word berserker: a guy in a bearskin, or a masked warrior?

After years of work, the book is finally almost here.

This is the most extensive source-based work ever put together on the Indo-European youth warrior bands, the Koryos/Männerbund tradition. Instead of repeating modern theories over and over, I wanted to go directly into the primary sources themselves. Vedic texts, Greek and Roman accounts, Germanic sources, berserkers, wolf warriors, initiation rites, all of it.

Honestly this has been my life for the past few years.

I need a little help figuring out inventory before the first print order. If you plan on getting a copy, like or comment so I know roughly how many to order before they sell out.

Also doing a huge sale on the website right now to clear warehouse space before the launch.

Feels different this time honestly.

Government UFO websites going live. Congress members openly saying they’ve seen classified files. People talking about “phased disclosure.” Even hearing stories about pastors being told to prepare congregations for whatever information is coming next.

Could all be nothing. Could be bigger than people think. But the conversation around UFOs and aliens definitely isn’t where it was 5 years ago.

Weird times to be alive lol

What do you guys actually think is going on?

Tomorrow is the Equinox event in Boulder, CO 🌸⚡️
See my pinned post or profile for tickets. I’ll be there DJing—bringing northern sounds to the night.
The equinox is likely one of the oldest celebrations we have.
We don’t have written records going back much further than the Middle Ages… but we do have archaeological evidence thousands of years older—stone monuments and ancient sites aligned perfectly with the rising and setting sun on the equinox.
This tells us something important:
long before written history, people were already marking this moment—the balance of light and dark, the return of warmth, the victory of the sun.
Even the word Easter is tied to this idea.
Derived from Ostara or related names, it points to the east, the dawn, the rising sun—a symbol of renewal found across northern European traditions.
So whether through ritual, celebration, or simply gathering together…
this has always been a time to welcome the light back into the world.
See you there ⚡️

Boulder, Colorado — March 20th 🌸⚡️
Join us for a Spring Equinox gathering & ceremony—I’ll be DJing and bringing northern sounds to the dance floor.
Check the link in my pinned post or visit Uba’s page for tickets and details.
The spring equinox has long been seen as a moment of balance, rebirth, and renewal—and many have asked whether this time of year has deeper pagan roots tied to what we now call Easter.
Our earliest written source comes from 8th-century England, where Bede describes a spring month named after a goddess often linked to fertility and the returning light. Beyond that, we find archaeological evidence of seasonal solar alignments, as well as parallels across Indo-European traditions that celebrate this exact turning point of the year.
Does this prove that Easter is pagan? Not exactly.
But it does show that this season was already sacred long before later traditions took shape.
This video explores the sources, the archaeology, and the wider connections across Europe.
See you in Boulder ⚡️
