Flatlanders is an outdoor inspired clothing line that is driven by a passion for adventure, for a seize-the-moment lifestyle. It’s the place where there is time to think, explore, and dream. Our dream is to redefine what it means to live in the Midwest, to create a community of people who call the flatlands home and to reinforce a lifestyle where people aren’t consumed by the busyness

of daily routines, but rather, come together to explore. We know we all have dreams… that we will someday get to. At Flatlanders, we invite you to take out the someday and replace it with today. Let’s come together and celebrate the here and now! Who we are:

a term that isn't specific to any state. It's a term that those who live in the mountains use to describe people from lower elevations — usually in a derogatory sense. We want to flip this idea upside down. We want to redefine living in the Midwest — in the flatlands. Flatlanders is now a term that unites those who call the fly over states home. We are Midwesterners like you. We don’t have mountains. We don’t have coasts. But we do have blue skies, wheat fields, and endless gravel roads. The Midwest, after all, is a place where nature is left untouched; where you can sit on your porch and watch the storms roll in, where you actually talk with your neighbors, where catching fireflies mark the summer nights. Here, the people are friendly and a real value is placed on those who venture with us. We want a brand that represents the Midwest. A brand that stands for family and freedom. Flatlanders exists because of that desire. To achieve this we are actively taking part in our communities to strengthen existing relationships and create new, lasting ones; that is our priority. We're not just an expansive interruption when traveling from the East to West coast. We are Midwest proud. Where we’re going:

Here at Flatlanders we have given countless hours of thinking and dreaming of where we could see our company going, and to be honest there are a ton of possibilities that we are really stoked about. So here is a list of some of our ambitions, some far away in the future and some right around the corner. We dream of seeing passionate Flatlanders reps on every college campus here in the Midwest. We hope to have rad events that celebrate the people that make the Midwest home, and we want to partner with other established companies to make these events really stand out. We want team up with non-profit groups in our region to leave a tangible impact on the Midwest. We want to continue making new and creative designs that really represent the plains and the “roam free” lifestyle. We hope to eventually branch out into different markets and make sweaters, hats, or whatever other sweet gear we think you’ll love. We dream of eventually using our profits to leave a lasting impact on the world around us. Let us know what you think!
