Happy Mother’s Day to all the badass moms out there hustling for their dreams and making it work!!!

I’m not the same person or designer I was before becoming a mom — and, I realize, I was not supposed to be. Motherhood expanded what being a designer and entrepreneur means to me.

I used to work nonstop. Long days, weekends, always on. Now that I am responsible for another human being, there are days when life comes first. When I can’t show up the way I used to. And that’s just real.

In the best way possible, motherhood taught me to not give a f**k! To stop trying to fit into something that doesn’t fit me. To trust my own rhythm and create in a way that actually feels aligned with my life.

I am more connected now to what I’m creating. And I’ve learned to trust my intuition, even when it initially doesn’t make sense.

There’s something really powerful about continuing to move forward. To keep building, keep showing up, even when you have no idea how it’s all going to work out.

Because becoming a mother didn’t make me less.
If anything… it made me more.

So maybe it’s not about “keeping up.”
Maybe it’s about realizing I was never meant to do it that way in the first place.
Now, I get to create my own rhythm.
My own way.
To sound my own voice.

I didn’t fall behind.
I evolved.

This time of year is special to me… all the cleaning, the resetting, everything around Passover… it just makes me go deep. This past year brought a lot - like really a lot - and I’ve been sitting with it. Not rushing it, not skipping over anything, just trying to understand what still feels right for me… and what doesn’t anymore.

Passover, for me, isn’t really about just remembering the Exodus. It feels way more personal than that. It’s like this quiet check-in - what am I ready to let go of and free myself from? People, patterns, situations that don’t feel aligned anymore… and also making space for what does.

And at the same time, it’s a reminder of what we’ve lived through then and now. What we carry, what we move through, and what we’re still learning to free ourselves from.

The Seder doesn’t even feel like a story to me… it feels like a process. Moving through layers, slowly. From feeling stuck to more free. From fear to trust. From holding on… to allowing myself to let go.

And “Egypt”… it doesn’t feel like just a place. It’s those tight spaces we sit in sometimes and then finally finding the courage to step out of them. There’s something really grounding in that for me… something that feels like growth, even when it’s uncomfortable. But I think that’s part of the process. That’s where the shift actually happens.

May we find our small freedoms everyday in our thoughts, in our choices, and in the way we see the world.

Happy Passover 🤍✨

Met my new studio neighbor Charles…

Watching someone step into the clothes is everything to me.
Because what I design isn’t just about how it looks - it’s about how it makes you feel!!!

More you.
More free.
More yourself.

It’s been a while since I posted here.

Lately I’ve been thinking a lot about process!

My father always told me that the most important part isn’t the end result… It’s the journey of getting there. The process. That’s where the real magic is.

When I’m draping, cutting, experimenting… I feel completely connected to something above me. Like I’m just a vessel letting something come through.

People always say I should film myself working or set up a tripod to capture the process. I honestly don’t know how other designers do it.

For me, the process is sacred.
When I’m in it, the last thing I think about is a camera.

So most of the time I just take still photos along the way…. Little moments of the journey.

Maybe that’s my way of sharing the process.

I’m back in NYC… and ready to welcome you back into my studio.
Body of Truth has been on my heart since the moment I created it - a space for people like me, like you… navigating change, transition, healing, motherhood, grief, creative rediscovery.

This workshop is deeply personal.
It’s not about fashion trends.
It’s about you - where you are now, and who you’re becoming.

We’ll sit together in my studio.
You’ll create a mood board from color, texture, shape - and I’ll listen. Then I’ll design a custom garment that reflects your story - a piece that feels like truth.

This isn’t just a workshop.
It’s a mirror.
It’s a moment.
It’s a return to yourself.

🖤 Limited spots.

Yesterday was really special!
My 10-year-old niece told me she’s taking a sewing class at school and invited me to come teach a class to 20 girls ages 10–12 and of course I said yes!
I went in to share my draping techniques the way I was taught. They didn’t have proper dress forms (and not enough of them), so I made it work and draped on one of the girls. Then I split them into pairs and had them drape on each other or on the forms they had.
Watching them light up, get curious, experiment, and feel proud of what they were creating was everything. They asked questions, trusted their instincts, and weren’t afraid to try.
It felt so meaningful to pass on what I know and to give back, and to see the next generation get inspired in real time.
A reminder of why this work matters, and how powerful it is to share knowledge!

BODY OF TRUTH — featuring Efrat

Efrat came to Body of Truth not just as a client, but as someone deeply connected to the soul of this brand.
As a woman in the film industry, a mother of two, and a longtime RB supporter, she signed up without hesitation! Not just to support, but to reconnect with herself and her art.

During the workshop, I laid out scraps of deadstock fabrics - each one holding a story.
Without knowing the history, she reached for a custom textile I made in 2017 with my dear friend - a fabric inspired by scans of the cancer my mother had.

That moment was emotional. Unspoken. Real.

Together, we created something new.
Something deeply personal.
Something that holds both of our stories.

That’s what Body of Truth is all about:
Connection. Intuition. Transformation.

Next workshop: December 11
Only 2 spots left
