First off, THANK YOU. 🥹🤍
Thank you to everyone who came out and shopped with me at the Manteo Saturday Market for my last market of the season! It was definitely a little bittersweet. 🌺
If you don’t know my story, my parents and I originally moved from Austin, TX to the Outer Banks about 13 years ago. I went to high school at MHS, ECU for a bachelors in music ed, started AlySwim, came back to the OBX to teach high school band & choir at MHS, got married & moved to Greenville in October of 2022. The OBX has been such a huge part of my life, and AlySwim has grown so much through all the markets, summers, and sweet customers I’ve met along the way.
But now… my parents are moving to Greenville!! 🥹🏡 They started building their home near ours back in February, and they close next month! I’m SO excited to have them nearby, especially as we get ready to welcome our first baby boy in December. 💙
So this season feels like the end of a really special chapter. A little sad, a little exciting, and a whole lot of gratitude. 🤍
And if you weren’t able to shop with me in person at the market, don’t worry!! All ready-to-ship items are now 50% OFF online at AlySwim.com through the end of August! 🛍️ I’ll also be adding more swimsuits throughout this week as I work through the rest of my swim fabrics.
I’m trying to work through what I have, start fresh for the new year, and get ready for a whole new season of life after baby arrives. 🥹💙
Of course, I’m not disappearing completely! From now until baby, I’ll still be taking custom swimwear orders + embroidery orders for as long as I can. And just because my parents are moving away from the OBX doesn’t mean I’ll never be back! I’m already planning to travel back for a few markets next year, so stay tuned! 👀🌊
Thank you for an absolutely AMAZING season of swim. Thank you for every order, market visit, custom request, kind word, share, and every person who has supported this little business of mine. I truly couldn’t do it without you. 🤍
Here’s to the next chapter! 🌺💙
