I’ll be running a fundraiser here on this page as well as a separate one on my Instagram page to benefit those affected by the Smokehouse Creek Fire in which many of my friends lost their houses and livestock. Every cent that is made from the drawing will be going to the relief fund created by Texas Farm Bureau for victims in the panhandle. If you’d like to make a donation outside of this drawing I’ll post the link in the comments.
Here’s how the drawing will play out. There’ll be 25 spots sold at $20 a piece. There will be a comment numbered 1-25. You’ll select what number(s) you’d like on the list. I’ll tag you next to said numbers. And the drawing will end when all spots have been claimed. The winner of the drawing will have the choice of a fully tooled belt, fully tooled radio strap (radio bucket not included) or 1/2 tooled set of suspenders. Between this drawing and the one on my Instagram page I aim to raise $1,000. Which isn’t a drop in the bucket of what the fine folks up there need. But this is one way I felt I could help while being so far away. It’s been truly amazing to see all of the trailer loads full of hay and fencing supplies being donated to ranchers back home. As well as just basic everyday supplies that are needed for recovery like dog food, bedding and toiletries. It’s a true testament that there are still good people out there willing to lend a helping hand to those in a time of need.
