🤍 Good morning,
I’ve been quiet about the closure of because, honestly, my heart has been with everyone impacted—especially the employees and small business owners who were blindsided by this situation.
Although Keeni hasn’t been in the Scottsdale location for about a year now, I remember how difficult that decision was at the time. Stepping away was necessary for the long-term growth of both Keeni Clothing Co. and The Brew Keeni Coffee Co., but it didn’t make it any easier.
I will always be incredibly grateful for the opportunity Painted Tree gave me. It truly created a space where small businesses could grow, connect, and be seen within their communities. That’s something I’ll never take for granted.
It’s heartbreaking to see those opportunities come to an unexpected end for so many. I’m holding space for everyone affected and sincerely hope this moment leads to new doors, new growth, and even better opportunities ahead.
I also want to say thank you to everyone who reached out to check on me when the news broke—it meant more than you know. 🤍
Sometimes the hardest decisions make sense in hindsight. For me, that turning point came a year ago as The Brew began to grow—but my heart is with those navigating that turning point right now.
Praying for peace, clarity, and new beginnings for everyone impacted by the poor decisions made by painted tree boutiques upper management.
