The Country Moose was very busy this weekend. Today, we had 3 trucks come in with furniture . . . . Beautiful furniture! Two pieces barely came in off the truck when a couple arrived and bought them! Stop by and see what attractive pieces have come in.

And . . . . . Congratulations to Mason "Mr. Wideopen" Potter for his win today at the NYOA race! The Country Moose glaadly sponsors him and is very happy that he is making the Country Moose and Potter name so proud. Go Mason! And congratulations to his younger sister, Mareesa for her win in 4th place! That's fantastic! Onward to the next race on Labor Day Weekend.

The Country Moose had an absolutely beautiful antique gold pocket watch come into the shop for sale.

Plus, several other very nice things. . . . a lovely silverware chest in pristine condition, several Elvis items, and a bunch of other vintage collectibles.

Today, I had a call from one of my favorite antique/collectible suppliers who had several items to bring to my shop. I'm not even open today!!! But, I stopped by the shop and was very pleased to see so many beautiful glassware items and furniture that he dropped off.

As always, the Country Moose brings new things to the shop every day . . . and I mean EVERY day!!

Every day at the Country Moose brings great happenings! Today, I arrived to have two folks bring me several pieces of glassware, metal ware, and a lot more to put in the shop on consignment. I was happy to do so because they were all in pristine condition!

Then, this afternoon, one of my favorite local friends showed up with 3 children's bikes. He had bought them for his grandchildren, but they had outgrown them. Before I could put a price tag on any of them, a lady pulled up and bought one of the bikes!

Man!!!. . . . . . . You gotta be fast at the Country Moose!!

Today, I had a fellow come in and buy up several pieces of our 250th Anniversary items for our Country that we have. I was happy to see the several other folks come in and admire and support the USA.

Tomorrow, I must go to meet a bride who needs her dress altered for her upcoming wedding. I love helping brides get ready for their big event, along with prom dress fittings, mother-of-the-bride, and a whole lot more. I even have a couple of pajama pants that need hemming, and a jacket that needs a new zipper.

Do you have clothes that you like but needs repair? Bring them to me! The Country Moose will fix it and get you on your way!

Today, the shop had several nice antique pieces of furniture come in for sale. Very good condition and very attractive. One is a secretary oak piece.

Tomorrow, we are receiving three very nice tables. One is an oak library table, and two others are very old and in fabulous condition.

Also, several pieces of glassware that we do not currently have in the shop.

Stop by and see what else has appeared in the shop for sale. Every day brings new things to the shop.

This coming Saturday is the Route 38 Veteran's Ride. I'm so happy that the Country Moose is back and up and running to acknowledge and enjoy the ride and salute our veterans who gave their lives to protect our country.

A big shout-out to Rick Beardsley and Norma. I love you both. You're the best. America loves you, and so do I.

Today was a good day at the Country Moose. I had several folks stop by and browse, and a very kind police officer from Cornell University. I'm very pleased and happy to have travelers from Ithaca's campuses and those visiting both CU and IC for campus tours. It's my hope that the Country Moose will not only appeal to our local folks who are the cement of our town, but also those visitors traveling through Richford that may stop and see what we have to offer.

Tomorrow is our Country's 250th birthday and the Country Moose will be open to celebrate the occasion and welcome visitors and customers to the shop. Many new things have come in this week. A beautiful collection of cast iron skillets, furniture, jewelry, baked goods, and a whole lot more! New things every day.

Come visit and plan to stop out on your travels this holiday weekend.
