Rosanne Azarian Designs

Textile artist who designs, creates, hand dyes and paints scarves, wall hangings, throws and various objects as art, garments, decorative or home use.

All of Rosanne Azarian Designs are hand made, dyed and painted in the artist's studio. Each item is unique and variations in color and design are part of the studio art process and the nature of natural fibers. Her work includes silk jackets, scarves, shawls, eyeglass cases and bags. Cotton jackets, scarves and shawls created in natural indigo using a traditional Shibori technique as well as other

dyeing techniques. Both cotton and silk pieces are hand-dyed and hand embellished using wood block printing, sea shells as stamps, beads or Swarovski crystals. Wall hangings are hand stitched by Rosanne herself employing deconstructed vintage textiles and other materials.

This bold landscape shows Cézanne’s radical interest in spatial relationships and three-dimensional form. Widely misunderstood by contemporary critics, his work was admired and collected by his colleagues. This landscape, for example, once belonged to Claude Monet!
