Since I moved to Marblehead I had the opportunity to work with many families in the town as a babysitter, I was blessed to take care of wonderful children who taught me a lot about life with their innocence and their different personalities. Maya is one of them! I have known her since she was 3 years old, one of the most creative people I know and with a very unique and determined personality. Now it was my turn to help her make her own dress for a dance at her school. She did a great job and she was very proud of herself and I was very proud of her too. 😍❤️❤️

Big tranformation here! From straples and open back to this.
I created the straps and closed the back, adding bottons and i found a perfect lace to cut some appliques that matched perfect with the fabric. Very happy client, feeling beautiful and comfortable on her dress!! It’s always possible to get the look that you want! 😉❤️

This client ordered a dress online and it was very small on the hips area. Her event was coming up in two weeks. No problem! i just took the original skirt off the dress, found a similar fabric and made a new skirt for her!!! 😉

Prom girl dress perfect fitted.
A lot of horse braid to remove from the tulle skirt! But it was worth it! Made her a matching mask with the fabric remainings. So cute☺️❤️

This beautiful bride called desperately because she could not find someone who could alter her dress, she lost weight since she had her baby and had very little time before the wedding, she was even thinking on doing the hem herself with tape😱, i got her dress perfect in just a few days. Never lose faith there will always be someone with the right skills who can help you.☺️❤️

A helped this sweet girl and her sweet bridemaids to get their dresses with a perfect fit for the special day. Alterations on the lenght of the dresses and some on the waist and they were ready!! 😍

When we have a case of pregnancy, sometimes it is necessary to cut the part of the torso so that the belly does not have pressure and the baby and mother are not uncomfortable. So here I took off the part of the waist line and moved it to empire line, some adjustments in the sleeves, shoulders and length. And now mom and baby can enjoy the party. 🤰🏻👶❤️

This is another example of why you should never underestimate the importance of going to a professional when you want to alter a dress. This client came to me desperate shortly before her event. She took her dress to a alterations place and they did a poor job but luckily i was able to fix it in time and with fantastic results. 😀🤩
