Stayed up until 1 AM working on this beauty! 😂 That’s when I get some of my best sewing done on the weekends! 🧵❤️

This is the center of the quilt, and I’m absolutely loving how it’s coming together! 💙 The combination of denim and camouflage is just perfect.

I LOVE working with denim, but it definitely takes a little extra love. I steam all the seams to help get them to lay nice and flat, which makes a big difference in the finished quilt.

I’ll be working on more rows today, and my goal is to have this quilt top completely finished this week! 🙌😊

🧵💙 A Little Sneak Peek! 💙🧵

A few weeks ago, I cut up several pairs of jeans and started making blocks for 4 different memory quilts. I was able to cut a total of 525 blocks! 🧵

After taking a little time off, I’m slowly getting back into my sewing room and back to work on these special quilts. I’ll also be incorporating pieces of their loved ones’ clothing, which will make each quilt even more meaningful. ❤️

The blocks in this quilt are 4½ inches, while the other three quilts will have 6½-inch blocks. I’m planning to make each quilt a little different so that every one is truly one-of-a-kind. 🥰

For now, here’s just a little sneak peek of what’s coming! 👀💙

And of course, I’ll be working on a few things in between these quilts… including a NEW BAG! 👜💜

Lots of sewing ahead, and I couldn’t be happier to be back at it! 🧵✂️💜

✨ Finished up this cute Memory Bear! 🧸❤️

Made from a special shirt, this little bear is more than just a keepsake—it’s a way to hold onto precious memories and keep someone close.

I added the embroidered heart with the sweet message:

“This was a shirt I used to wear. Hold me close and I’ll be there.”

I just love how this one turned out! 🥰 There’s something so special about taking clothing that holds memories and turning it into something that can be treasured for years to come.

✂️ It’s been a productive weekend in the sewing room! 🧵

I’ve been busy cutting things out and getting ready for my next projects.

🧸 I have 2 memory bears cut out, with one already interfaced and ready to sew.
👜 I have a memory bag cut out and ready to sew.
👖 I cut out several pairs of jeans and have already cut 150 blocks! I only have about 290 more to go for 4 quilts. 😳
🌹 And I made a trip to pick up this beautiful fabric for a new bag I’m going to attempt for a client. I can’t wait to see how it turns out!

Now it’s time to sit back, relax, and recharge. I think I’ve earned it! 😂
