Happy sunny Thursday! I’m working on the Dolly Parton inspired Junk Journal kits for my booths and I thought it would be only be fitting to post some Dolly fun facts until Sunday when the packs arrive! I truly think our world became a little dimmer with her loss. She was one of the “good” ones.

* Dolly wrote two of her most famous hits, "Jolene" and "I Will Always Love You," on the same day in 1972.

* She turned down Elvis Presley when his manager demanded half of the publishing rights for "I Will Always Love You".

* She holds 11 Guinness World Records, including for most decades with a top-20 hit on the U.S. Country Songs chart.
