Fun Fact Friday 📖

Developmental disabilities typically impact day-to-day functioning and usually last a person's lifetime. Most developmental disabilities begin before a baby is born, but some can happen because of an injury or infection.

According to the CDC, developmental disabilities affect approximately 17% of children between the ages of 3 and 17. Some of the ones that are more commonly known include ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Cerebral Palsy, and Tourette Syndrome.

Have you tried our breakfast burrito?

Jeff always loves getting the breakfast burrito with sausage and a hot peanut butter mocha. Delicious! Our burritos are made with cheese and scrambled eggs made to order. You can choose either bacon or sausage! We grill them on the panini press to give them that satisfying crunch.

Fun Fact Friday 📖

Did you know that a cappuccino is very similar to a latte? The difference is that when making a cappuccino you introduce a bit more oxygen into the milk which allows for more foam. You can order a cappuccino either wet or dry!

Dry cappuccino = lots of foam
Wet cappuccino = a little more foam than a latte

Get to know your barista 💛

Izzy is our Cafe Coordinator! You all have probably met her. Izzy is kind-hearted, brings joy in the spaces she is in, and cultivates an atmosphere where everyone feels welcome.

We asked Izzy what something she has grown in since working at The aMPersand. She shared, "I’ve learned to be more creative in the kitchen. Here at the aMPersand, we make seasonal syrups. It’s fun to play around with flavors and make sure these creations are delicious!"
