Happy 4th of July!!!

We made a trip down to South Range for a visit to the for their annual open house. Such a great stop.
And so much fun to see ‘behind the scenes’.

Anyone up for an afternoon of staining with us? 😉

Our tent platform project sounded so simple at the beginning. We watched videos. Procured all of our materials. Drew up plans. And dreamed… lots and lots of dreaming.

Now we are at the point in the creative process when it’s time to dig in and take action.

Little by little that’s what we’ve been doing. While we are home, we are putting a “quick” finish on each of the pallets we will be using to frame our platform.

The thing that has been fun as we move forward, is that with each step of action, the vision is becomes even more clear… details that were unseen before emerge with clarity.

Stay tuned as we keep moving forward with this project.

We’ve been working away, little by little, to add some new items to the shop. Over the weekend our sample mug arrived and Chris broke it in with a fresh cup of coffee this morning.
He’s loving it! What do you think?

The previous owners of our sweet little spot in the forest touted themselves as nature lovers who worked in forest management. Now we all have different interpretations of what that means, but after finding about 50 pop cans and plastic water bottles, multiple pieces of cutlery (plastic and metal), a breakfast bowl and dinner plate we have been wondering what that means to them.

Pack it in. Pack it out. Let’s keep nature clean.

Yay! Oh my goodness… this has been so much fun to create and it is such a bright and fun addition to camp this summer.
