Today we are in the U.P. Just off the northern shore of Lake Michigan at the American Legion Post 71 in Gladstone. Live music, lots of bikes and a few dozen classic hot rods. The community comes together to raise awareness and funds for UP Honor Flight among other worth causes.

2,320 miles later and we made it home!! If you’re ok with city traffic, we highly recommend going to the Boston area and Old Montréal, Canada. Both beautiful cities with lots of history. Now for some rest before heading back to work tomorrow! 🤘🏼

Carl and I took a short little ride from Montréal, Canada, came in through New York and into Vermont. Took a beautiful ride down US2 (yup! Same one that goes through the UP) through the Champlain Islands. Vermont IS GORGEOUS! Beautiful lush green mountains, rivers, lakes and twisty roads. We stayed in Burlington, VT one night and took off the next day and rode through New Hampshire, up to Maine and made our way back down to Massachusetts.

After a 9 hour day on the saddle yesterday, about 450 miles, we made it to Montréal, Quebec, Canada. Whew, that was a long day! We hit rush hour and construction in Ottawa….that wasn’t fun, thank god we have a lot of city riding under our belts. 🫣thank the GOOD LORD we made it out of that mess! We crossed over into Quebec and all signs turned into French, no English. Being 50% French Canadian (my mother is from Quebec), Montréal has always been a bucket list destination.
