Working on the new 1232 Broad St location…getting our inspiration from so many places. Painting, cleaning, and hauling boxes and trucks filled with amazing items, treasures, and those great “uncommon things”. Didn’t know I could hurt in certain places, but I keep telling myself it’s all part of this great new chapter in my life. Really excited to share it with all of you…talk soon (at least, that doesn’t hurt!).
Looking forward to seeing you all here in St. Joseph..spring and summer are just around the corner..

So another day doing demolition and rebuild….my poor hot pink UGHs!!!!! But it’s going to be an amazing space with so much great product…I promised you it would be like our Marshall store but on steroids…it will be so much more. I’m working hard to create this amazing new store for you to shop and enjoy. Miss all my great customers and friends. Talk soon

We have officially moved out of our lovely space in Marshall. Please keep checking back in as I will keep you updated on the progress of our new location…1232 Broad Street, Saint Joseph, MI.
It’s a fabulous, historic building in St Joe, and I am looking forward to sharing the journey with you. Currently, we are looking at reopening the end of April..Talk soon. Gail

To our favorite customers and friends…I wanted to share some exciting news about our store. We are expanding…and moving. We have found a larger space that will allow us to expand our assortment of amazing products. We will now be able to offer special order upholstered furniture, several women’s clothing lines, more and larger furniture and garden items, as well as our great current assortment of vintage and new items. This is really exciting for me to be able to offer these new items to you, our favorites customer….and friends.

However…we will be relocating to St. Joseph, MI. I found a great old building, built in the 1920’s, with 8,000 sq feet of space. We will be partnering with Vinatge Goods, an established antique/vintage store currently located in Three Oaks, MI. Their owner, Diane Wallenius, brings many years of retail experience, a great sense of fashion, and an amazing eye for antiques and vintage. Together, we will be creating a unique, curated assortment of everything for the home and garden, great gifts, clothing, and all the good “stuff” uncommon things is known for.

I will certainly miss our lovely location here in Marshall but am excited to be offering the same…and MORE…in our new location 1232 Broad St., Saint Joseph, MI. We are currently planning on opening April 1st…and, nope, it’s not an April Fool’s joke. Let me tell you, renovation is not always pretty or easy, and I didn’t know I could hurt in certain areas of my body or get that dirty. I will post pictures on our uncommon things site so you can watch our progress.

Our last day here in Marshall will be Saturday, March 4th. We will be closing our back room starting Friday, February 24th, so please stop in and take advantage of our great markdowns. If I don’t get to see you here, please come over to St. Joe and visit us in our new location…you won’t be disappointed.
