We did it again! and I collaborated on our space and I couldn’t have been happier with how it all came together. She is such a pro with such an incredible work ethic and eye. Already looking forward to fall and what we can do together to make it an even better experience all around!

Big thanks to everyone who came out to see us and to all the first times who stumbled in! Hope you will cherish all of your unique hand picked vintage for many years to come!

Designed and styled a look for for her debut art show, drawing inspiration from her Louisiana roots, the swamp witch archetype, and alligators. During the show, I learned how alligators are devoted mothers, and Barbara so vulnerably shared the deeply personal reasons they appear throughout her work. Every detail of the evening was intentional and flawlessly executed. I’m so glad I pushed past my social anxiety and showed up to see this incredible work in person.

A breakdown of Barbara’s look:
The dress was a hand-dyed, reimagined vintage silk slip with sheer side cut-outs. The top was a custom silk chiffon LOV shoulder crop, finished with a vintage hand-hammered sign-and-number brutalist metal belt.

Honored to witness and be part of a night rooted in storytelling, vulnerability, and intention.

New OOAK collection is officially live!

For those of you who are new here, these garments are made with 100% recycled vintage silk and hand-dyed through a process I’ve created that I call chaos dying. This gives each piece my signature depth and texture. Every garment is a one-of-one, created to be lived in, loved, collected, and passed down to future generation.

If something from this collection speaks to you, I invite you to make it yours. There is never pressure, but once these pieces are gone, they are gone forever.

A new OOAK Drop just went live!

Each garment is a true one-of-one — made from recycled vintage silk and hand-dyed with depth, texture, and chaos. Chaos dyeing is a technique I’ve developed over time; while I can guide the process, the final outcome always holds an element of surprise. That unpredictability is part of the magic.

Each piece is completely unique — created with the intention of being loved, collected, and passed down to future generations.

I release new OOAK collections regularly, but these exact pieces won’t return — so if something speaks to you, I invite you to explore it while it’s here.

When I say having a working studio has been a long-time dream of mine — I truly mean it.

Back in 2020, I came VERY close. I made the bold move to close my longtime vintage shop, Laced With Romance, to start .lov I felt I had taken LWR as far as I could, and I was dyeing 😜 to work more with my hands. The plan was to close LWR and immediately pivot into opening the LOV studio and showroom in its place.

But before I could take any real steps forward, the world would literally shut down. I had to give up my space… and the dream.

To say I was devastated would be an understatement — but in the face of so much collective loss and uncertainty, I didn’t feel like I could fully grieve what I had put on hold. So I did what many of us did: I kept moving. Quietly. Steadily. Just hoping that eventually, all the hard work would pay off.

And now... it’s finally here. 🥹

After years of working mostly solo out of my home studio and hustling to make enough to expand, I’m finally opening my very first working studio and showroom — alongside friend and incredible chainstitch artist . It’s a gorgeous space in a historic 1924 building, right next door to the cutest little h***y tonk in Martindale, TX —

This isn’t just a new chapter — it’s the one I’ve been trying to write for a long time. And I’m so grateful to everyone who’s supported me along the way, even when the dream felt far off… and even impossible at times.

We’re celebrating with an opening party on Sunday, September 28th and would love for you to come by, see the space, and toast this new beginning with us. ✨🥂✨

🍑 NEW 🍑 One-of-a-kind hand-dyed silk chiffon slip dress {SOLD} + LOV duster in this rich, glowing orange colorway.

This was a custom request and not a shade I’d normally reach for — but I’m so glad I said yes. It turned out vibrant, warm, and surprisingly sensual. I took the challenge… and I think I nailed it.

Now the only thing missing is the perfect name for this juicy new hue. Any ideas?

I’m thrilled to announce that .lov has found a new creative home in Martindale, TX!

This space will serve as both an active studio and a viewing showroom—open by appointment or by chance.

I’ll be sharing this space with the talented chainstitch artists
So of course we have lots of fun ideas for collaborations.

This has been a dream of mine for as long as I can remember, and I can’t wait to see what growth and opportunities this new chapter will bring.
