It is with mixed emotions that we announce Mason County Outfitters will be closing this month.

There were many factors that went into making this decision and it was not made easily. Running two completely different stores, in two separate locations, has been a lot harder than we imagined. When we do something, we want to do it 100%, and having two stores, with totally different inventory and logistics, it just became harder and harder to keep them both where we wanted them. And the true vision that we had for MCO when we opened never really came to fruition.

Economic factors also played a huge role. Sales are down, our rent was going up, and we were having to sign a new, longer lease. We just couldn’t make sense of keeping the store open any longer.

The final factor was time. We want to spend the precious time we have left with our kids still at home wisely. We know these next few years will fly by and we don’t want to miss the beauty in them!

We are so grateful ❤️ for the past three years and for everyone we have met along the way. It’s been an amazing ride, and we are so very thankful for all of the love and support we’ve received!

We DO plan to keep some of your favorite brands, like Burlebo, down at Mason Boutique!
