I made this one and am so glad someone found it. 😊

My fiancé drove us almost 2 hours towards his hometown. He was taking me to see the White Gravel Christmas Cave for the first time. We parked and walked up a path towards the entrance. I stopped to admire the Christmas lights on and around the path. My eyes were drawn immediately to this adorable hanging quilted heart. I got the biggest smile when I read that it needed a home and I could take it. One of my favorite animals is the sloth and I collect fun, cute sloth things. I always joke with friends and family that the sloth is my spirit animal. It was meant to be...thanks for making my day and making me smile every time I look at my quilted heart!

Welcome to Margie’s Sewing Room. Margie was my grandmother who taught me to sew, along with my Mom. It was always a treat to shop for fabric with Mom at JCPenney in Barberton to make back to school clothes. My senior year I got the “best dressed” award, so I guess the lessons were a success.

I sew anything that can be made from fabric. One of my specialties are memory quilts/pillows made from clothes. With 5 granddaughters, I have perfected doll clothes with matching blankets. A project near and dear to my heart is nightware with matching teddy bears for foster kids.

Home decor such as pillows, placemats, pillow cases etc. , seatbelt pillows for travel, purses, tote bags, stadium bench quilts and stuffed animals and more are all available as well.
