This hot and humid early September weather has us in desperate need of a beach day!

Instead of loading up the car to catch some waves, enjoy the view of this AMAZING king-sized beauty that just came off the frame! The piecing and applique are unbelievable, and the quilting texture makes those ocean waves come to life. It’s like a tropical getaway right in the studio! 🐢

It’s been a few weeks since the fair wrapped up, but we have some EXCITING news to share!

Wylee's Harvest Quilting and Goods entered a few quilted projects into the open class to show a little support for all our amazing Quilt Love students who entered projects for 4H this year. And we gotta say... as first-year entries, we cleaned up!

🥇 THREE 1st place ribbons!
🏆 AND A TROPHY!!!!

I totally get the fair competition hype now! A sneaky little competitive side of me has officially been unlocked, and I’m already planning patterns for next year!

A huge shoutout and congratulations to all of our incredible youth quilters who entered and showed off their hard work this year—you all inspire us so much! 💖

These beautiful batiks are completely knocking us off our feet! 🪶💜🪡

Just look at those jewel-toned purples, blues, and teal accents surrounding that stunning peacock focal panel—it is pure perfection! The way these rich colors and intricate patterns come together in this framed layout is an absolute dream, and the edge-to-edge quilting adds the most delicious texture to every square.

We love getting to be a small part of bringing work like this to life on the longarm!

Modern design + killer texture = absolute magic!

We just took this stunner off the frame, and we can’t get over the texture! The quilting pantograph we chose adds such incredible depth and movement across all that neutral negative space, bringing those vibrant blue geometric blocks to life!

Our studio heart is so happy every time one of these beauties rolls off the longarm 💙

A Rocket Mortgage T-shirt quilt, you say?? DONE! ✔️🚀👕

We unclasped this not-so-little beauty from the frame this week and it turned out so cool! T-shirt quilts are such a fun way to preserve memories, milestones, and all those favorite tees, and this dynamic layout came together so nicely with that smooth longarm texture.

A big thanks to Kim for trusting us to put the finishing touches on this incredible piece! It was such a blast to stitch up! 💖

WOW!! We are completely speechlessly in awe of this masterpiece!!

We just unpinned this stunner from the longarm frame today, and there was zero chance we could wait to show it off! The geometric piecing, striking colors, and incredible dimension on this King Tut portrait are nothing short of extraordinary. It is truly a magnificent work of art!

A HUGE thank you to Ruth Ann for trusting us to put the finishing quilting touches on such an incredible creation. It was an absolute honor to have it in the studio! 💖

Can we just take a second to appreciate the absolute magic of memory quilts?!

I will never get over the fact that we live in a world where a stack of old Crown Royal bags and a few squares of fabric can transform into something so sentimental, functional, and downright gorgeous. Projects like this completely blow me away!

Turning cherished memories into cozy, everyday keepsakes is hands-down the best part of what we do here at the studio. Moments like this remind me just how much I truly love my job and this awesome community ❤️
