Welcome to a place for me to share all the things I love with you! My name is Brittany Buckner, and I recently became a new mom to the most precious little girl on the planet. She is happy as a clam, sleeps so soundly, and makes her mommy and daddy smile so big even on the gloomiest of days! She is such a ray of sunshine! While all those things make me feel warm and fuzzy inside, that doesn’t take away from the fact that those first few months as a first time parent are HARD. I quickly realized how easy it is to lose yourself in the trenches of early motherhood. How easy it is to fall into postpartum depression and anxiety, how easy it is to forget the woman you were before babies, how easy it is to let emotions take over when you just don’t understand why. You are not alone mamas! Being on maternity leave and watching our little girl grow so fast has taught me so much about myself in such a short time. I’ve learned life is precious and sometimes it’s ok to slow down. Most importantly, I’ve learned you don’t have to lose yourself. You are still the same person, but now you just get an extra title and little best friend to do life with!

If you know me, you know how much I love everything home decor/vintage inspired/sad beige baby lol. I love making our spaces feel cozy, I love going antique shopping, I love gift giving, I love making our house a home, and most recently I LOVE shopping for little girl clothes, of course! This creative outlet is a way for me to remember who I am and who I want to raise my daughter to be- wholeheartedly herself, rooted in following Jesus. Adding the “motherhood” title to the girl you’ve known your whole life is a whirlwind of emotions, but man what a rewarding title to have!
