Part 1 of our workshop series, “Behind The Scenes at the Cobbler”, with the amazingly talented and inspiring , a local fashionista and utmost creative. Abby has been a friend of Escobar’s Shoe Repair through a shared love for creating, finding, and restoring the finer things. Abby and her media team were kind enough to find interest in the craftsmenship that goes on in our workshop, which has been documented through this series that we are happy to share with y’all.

🪩 A really neat pair of Prada heels we worked on recently.

These mirrored wedge type design came in with their soles falling and quite scuffed. We were able to keep the original sole and restore them back to a clean look. Completely redoing the soles were also an option but our team of craftsmen were able keep its orginality!

A major restoration on these once unwearable women’s snip toe boots. Along with their full sole and shine, new stacked leather heel bases were added, making an entirely new and healthy bottom half. A resoling like this gives fresh life and longevity to this pair and pairs alike, at often times longer than its factory lifespan due to our handmade construction and premium materials.

Here at , a quality resole as such ranges from a half sole to full sole at ~$150-$250, depending on what is really needed.

Adding a rubberized Toppi half sole, preferably Vibrum, to one’s Louboutin’s is a savvy move made by its owners. Not only does it preserve the color matched signature Loub red, but also adds longevity to the heel, serving as the first layer of protection to the often leather sole at the point of contact.

New leather soles and heels with a special leather condition treatment to make this pair as good as they looked the day they were first bought, many, many, years ago.
