Franklin Alvarado came to us for two tuxedos, one weekend.

A black peak lapel for the ceremony at Grand Island Mansion. A white dinner jacket for the reception that followed.

A wedding is one of the few occasions where a man wears formal clothing that is genuinely his own, made for his shoulders, his posture, and the way he moves through the day. Franklin understood that, and the photographs show it.

Congratulations to Franklin and Jasmine Alvarado. It was an honor to be part of the day.

Last night at The Hamilton Hotel in Washington, D.C., our longtime client Matt Brooks celebrated his daughter's wedding in a midnight navy Holland & Sherry mohair tuxedo, handmade in a shawl lapel. Hand-cut, canvassed, and finished in our atelier. A cloth with just enough sheen to catch the light at exactly the right moment.
