It’s done! This quilt took approximately 70 hours to complete. There are 90 blocks and they each finished at 4 inches. It’s definitely one of my favorite finishes! ❤️

New grandson born on Halloween! So a new quilt for his big brother 4.5” paper pieced blocks. These are from the pattern book ‘I Spy’ by Kimmie Tanner and Missy Winona. Stay tuned for the finish ❤️

Almost cut the clematis back a month ago! So glad I didn’t. Most of my flowers are hanging on. It’s still loaded with blooms too.

Petunias blooming solidly after taking care of the petunia worms. Didn’t have any issues with them until last year.

It’s a simple sauce we make every year to freeze then use in the winter. San Marzano tomatoes and whatever other varieties we have an abundance of along with home grown onions and basil. We also add garlic but don’t grow it. Salt, pepper and a dash of sugar! We usually boil down for a couple of hours to thicken then cool and freeze.

Made a few apple crisps to freeze. We had a decent supply of Macintosh apples this year.
