One week since this bride said “I do”💍

For this heirloom update we removed those big sleeves, resized the bodice, and created a custom ivory cathedral length veil. The gown was worn originally by her mom in 1991 and was reworn again for this stunning brides wedding day - a tradition we don’t see too often, but that we love so so much🤍

August camera roll✨

My sister was in town and was gracious enough to be put to work, the studio flooded (thankfully minor but threw a wrench in the first week of the month for sure), we’ve seen so many amazing brides that I’ve started to lose count, and I started knitting myself a new sweater for fall (balancing hobby & work sewing/crafting has taken a big front seat this month iykyk)

Heirloom christening gown for our lovely clients first grandchild🤍

This client came in with her wedding gown from the 80s in hopes of creating a sweet and simple christening gown for her first grandchild. We ended up going for this adorable peter pan collar & scalloped hem that we trimmed with pearls taken from the bodice of her gown and of course we had to make a bonnet to match!

Heirloom projects like this are so beautiful to work on and we absolutely love getting to create pieces that will continue to be passed down for future generations🤍🪡
