Bill Gates is now 59 years old (2015) and is now one of the richest people in the world with more the 80 billion dollars on his bank account. He was very succesfull with his company Microsoft. Now he isn't CEO anymore and the job is given to Satya Nadella.

William Henry Gates III was born on October 28, 1955 in Seattle (United States). He was born as a son of a teacher and a lawyer. He has two sisters. When Bill was 13, he was already fascinated by the computers at school. He developed when even a salary system for the school. In 1973 he went to study at Harvard University but he stopped prematurely with his studies because he was busy with his good friend Paul Allen to design computer software. This software eventually announced the beginning of Microsoft. Along with Paul Allen he designed Basic, a programming language. Basic was later replaced by Windows.
