EDIT... Unfortunately due to a migraine headache that just wouldn't let u, we had to leave before the auction started. We did eat a couple of chicken plates. They were delicious. I know whomever stayed for the auction got some great day on some good stuff.

We are in Raleigh MS at the benefit for little Anikin Miller who was attacked by wild animals when he was lost in the woods about a month ago. I'm sure his medical bills are astronomical. Let's all join together and help this young family with the enormous expenses obtained during this time.
The first two pictures are of items my husband and I have donated for the auction that starts at 1:00 pm. Mourning Dove Farm Market Days donated an antique handmade chenille bedspread size full as is or will work as a queen if you use a dust ruffle.
Norman's item from Desperado Designs is a handmade leather 9mm holster that fits a Ta**us PT 111 G2
I have included a picture of the room of the 100s of items that have been donated as well. These are extremely nice items. This should be a fun auction.
The chicken plates are going out on the table as we speak @$10. There are several vendors set up that are donating a % of their proceeds of the day to the benefit. It is all inside air conditioned and very well organized. Just type in Smith County MS Agriculture Complex and the address will Pop up in maps. Hope to see you there.

Hey guys. I know I haven't posted in a long time but frankly I haven't felt like it. I've been sick. I've been tired. Now I'm tired of being sick and sick of being tired. It's been a rough month and a half and still not over. There's been one thing after the next but the main thing that put me down for the count and stopped me in my tracks for 6 weeks with a severe attack of gout that was mainly in my right side from my toe to my hip joint. My leg looked like a tree trunk. I don't wish that pain in anyone. Naturally that had all the other ailments flaired up so I've been on the couch for most of 6 weeks. I was excited thinking I about had that licked but knew I should be feeling better. I went back yesterday and I have a bad UTI on top of everything else. The people who know me personally know I am a busy person. This is really getting on my nerves.

I'm still here but I'm still down for the count. For those that have not had gout before, you don't know what you are missing. I read it is one of the most painful things you can have and I truly believe it is true.

I wish I had gotten before pictures but I didn't.
These belong to a sweet friend and are heirlooms from grandparents many years ago. I won't say names just yet because I'm not sure if the family has seen them. This set is very old and the swing is actually delicate and will need gentle care. It received more weather than the rocker on the front porch of Grandpa's house. I braced it and added new wood in places where it can be used as long as kids don't do flips in it like me and my cousins did to our grandparents swing when we were young. 😆. The rocker set further back out of the weather and is still in remarkable shape with only needing a few minor repairs before painting. You can imagine them being around 60+ years old there were several years of paint layers that had to be blasted off. The original layer was white but the second layer was so close to this color you would have thought I had it mixed on purpose but it was totally by accident. I was so excited when I saw that.
I'm not taking anything else for a while at least until the weather cools down and then I will be very selective because I just don't have what I used to have at 65 years old. I thought they turned out pretty good especially if you had seen them before.
